No mixer? No problem. All you need for easy keto whipped cream is a blender and 60 seconds.

It’s that cozy time of the year where all I want to do is curl up in a fuzzy blanket with my favorite book and a decadent cup of coffee. This recipe is perfect for such an occasion where bulletproof or nitro coffee just won’t cut it.
Now, I’m well aware that most pre-packaged whip cream brands are super low in sugar and carbs, making them obvious keto-friendly options.
So why bother with homemade?
Well, there are a few reasons to consider it.

Why Make Homemade Whip Cream?
1. Homemade Tastes Better
Homemade whip cream contains more fat than store-bought, giving it a richer flavor and creamier texture. Plus, I don’t know about you but I can actually taste the additives in aerosol whipped cream. Nah, I’m good.
2. Homemade is Healthier
Speaking of additives, did you know that laughing gas is the propellant used in aerosol cooking sprays and creams? And although laughing gas certainly made surgery less stressful, I’m not sure I’m comfortable with it showing up in my food supply.
Beyond that, most store-bought whip cream contains carrageenan. Carrageenan is a thickening agent derived from red seaweed.
Red seaweed? Sounds healthy enough, right?
Well, the jury’s still out. Some scientists have presented evidence that carrageenan is highly inflammatory and toxic to the digestive tract. So it may be in your best interest to avoid that stuff altogether.
3. Whip Cream is Super Easy to Make
Finally, homemade whip cream is SUPER easy to make. All you need is heavy whipping cream, a high-speed blender, and 60 seconds.

Not Sure What to Do with Homemade Whipped Cream?
You could use it as a pancake topping, or jazz up your Monte Cristo— but my personal favorite is to use it as creamer in my keto coffee. It’s a perfect way to silence a sweet tooth without undoing a whole day’s work.
